Private jets at Copenhagen Airport
Copenhagen Kastrup is Denmark's main airport, open around the clock with customs at all hours and business aviation handled through a private entrance at the end of Terminal 2. It is slot-coordinated, and night take-offs between 23:00 and 06:00 need advance approval based on the aircraft's noise.

Business aviation handling
Business aviation passengers use the General Aviation/Executive entrance at the end of Terminal 2, with a private security check and formalities. ASE Handling's lounges are airside, and its staff drive passengers to and from the aircraft.
ASE Handling
Describes itself as Copenhagen's only dedicated FBO. Airside location on the A28-A34 stand area, reached through the private GA/Executive entrance at the end of Terminal 2. VIP and crew lounges, private security check, customs and immigration, and optional VIP tarmac access.
Aviator
Nordic ground handler that lists executive handling services at Copenhagen (CPH).
Worth knowing before you fly
- Copenhagen is close to the city: about 8 km, or 10-15 minutes by motorway. Business aviation passengers use a separate entrance at the end of Terminal 2 rather than the main terminal.
- Every private flight needs approval from the slot coordinator, which works only on weekday office hours (09:00-15:00 Danish time). Weekend and short-notice requests go to Copenhagen Airports instead, so we file early.
- Night departures (23:00-06:00) need advance approval, given only to aircraft shown to stay within 80 dB(A) at the measuring points. We check the aircraft's noise data before quoting a night departure.
- The AIP lists no hangar space for visiting aircraft, so in winter crews should plan for parking outside and pre-book de-icing.

Airport
| Opening hours | The aerodrome, air traffic services, fuelling, handling, security and de-icing are all H24 in AIP Denmark. Runways 12 and 30 are closed for take-off and landing from 23:00 to 06:00 Danish time, with limited exceptions. |
|---|---|
| Prior permission | Every individual flight, including non-scheduled and other traffic, must be approved by the slot coordinator, Airport Coordination Denmark (ACD), if possible no later than the day before. ACD's office hours are Monday to Friday 08:00-14:00 UTC (07:00-13:00 UTC in summer), which is 09:00-15:00 Danish time; outside those hours requests go to Copenhagen Airports Airside Operation. A request must give the owner/operator, aircraft type and registration, arrival and departure dates and times, origin and destination. All operators, including private and business aviation, must arrange a handling agent in advance. |
| Customs and immigration | Customs and immigration are H24 (AIP Denmark). ASE Handling says its clients use the private General Aviation/Executive entrance at the end of Terminal 2, with its own customs and immigration. |
| Slots | Coordinated airport. Airport Coordination Denmark (ACD) performs slot coordination and must approve individual flights, including non-scheduled traffic. |
| Noise and night restrictions | Night period 23:00-06:00 Danish time. Every take-off in this period needs advance approval from Copenhagen Airports, granted for about six months to aircraft shown to stay at or below 80 dB(A) at six measuring points; otherwise ACD can give a one-off permission based on noise certification. No approval is needed for a take-off between 23:00 and 01:00 that results from a delay, or for any landing. Runways 12 and 30 are closed at night except in limited cases. At all times, take-offs and landings must keep to 80 dB(A) at the measuring points, jets must stay at or above 2,500 ft over Greater Copenhagen on approach, and reverse thrust above idle is allowed only for safety. Breaches can be fined under the Danish Air Navigation Act. |
| Aircraft parking | AIP Denmark lists no hangar space for visiting aircraft. Marshaller assistance is mandatory for parking on Apron West and on Apron East (except three stands with docking guidance). Stand allocation is not described in detail in the AIP. |
| De-icing | Available H24. Every operator must arrange de-icing in advance with a de-icing provider. Aircraft de-icing and anti-icing take place only at the de-icing areas on Taxiways A, B and V. |
| Other restrictions | A handling agent is mandatory for all operators. Copenhagen runs Airport-Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM): aircraft must be ready at their Target Off-Block Time. Tall ships in the Drogden fairway east of the airport can cause temporary runway closures for some departures and arrivals. |
