Charter sales and management for aircraft owners
With more than 25 years of collective experience in flight operations, aircraft management and commercial management, we know what an aircraft costs to run, what it can earn, and where owners lose money without seeing it.
What we do for owners
Help is available on its own or together, whoever manages your aircraft today.
Charter sales
We bring charter flights to your aircraft from our own clients and our contacts across the industry, so it earns when you're not using it. Every flight is operated under your operator's Air Operator Certificate.
Independent management review
Weighing up management proposals, or unsure about the service you're getting now? We review them as an independent third party and tell you plainly what we find.
Cost audit
We go through what your aircraft actually costs, line by line, and show you where the money goes and what is worth questioning.
Aircraft management
We manage your aircraft with a partner operator. They hold the Air Operator Certificate and deal with the regulator; we take control of the commercial side, with detailed and timely reporting to you.
How our aircraft management works
The work is split so each side does what it's best at. Our partner operator keeps your aircraft legal. We run the commercial side, which means we act early on what your aircraft earns and costs instead of waiting to be asked.
Our partner operator
- Holds the Air Operator Certificate your aircraft flies under
- Operates its commercial flights
- Deals with the regulator
Volairis
- Takes control of the commercial side of your aircraft
- Finds and prices charter flights for it
- Keeps its costs under review
- Reports to you in detail and on time
We've been on the other side of the invoice
We've worked inside aircraft management and flight operations, so we know how an operator runs an aircraft, what each cost line is for, and which ones are negotiable.
We approach each owner with fresh eyes. You get a straight view of what your aircraft costs and what it could earn, and what you do with it is your decision.
What we look at in a cost review
The usual cost lines on a managed aircraft, and the questions we ask about each.
Management fee
What it covers, what is charged on top, and how it compares with the service delivered.
Crew
Salaries, training, contract crew and the costs of keeping crew current on type.
Maintenance
The maintenance programme, engine and parts reserves, and scheduled checks coming up.
Hangar and handling
Hangarage at base, and handling and parking charges away from it.
Insurance
Hull and liability cover, and whether it matches how the aircraft is actually used.
Charter revenue
How charter flights are found, priced and shared, and what reaches you after costs.
Questions
Who operates my aircraft under your management?
A partner operator that holds an Air Operator Certificate. It operates the flights and deals with the regulator. We take control of the commercial side: finding and pricing charter, keeping costs under review and reporting to you.
Volairis doesn't operate aircraft. How can you charter mine?
For commercial charter, an aircraft has to be on an operator's Air Operator Certificate. The operator flies the trips; we bring the clients and the flights, the same way we arrange charter for our own customers.
Do I have to change my management company?
No. We can review your current arrangement and your costs independently, without you changing anything. What you do with the findings is up to you.
What does an independent review look at?
The management agreement and fee, crew, maintenance and reserves, hangar and handling, insurance, and how charter revenue is earned and shared. We set out what is reasonable and what is worth questioning.
