Private jets to Geneva
Geneva is both a business destination and the main airport for the French and Swiss Alps. Winter weekends bring heavy private traffic for Verbier, Méribel, Courchevel and Chamonix.

Good to know
- Geneva has a dedicated general aviation terminal for private passengers.
- Ski-season weekends are the busiest days, so aircraft availability falls quickly from December to March.
- Road transfers to the major resorts typically take one to two hours.
- In winter we watch the forecast closely and book a hangar for the aircraft where we can. Keeping it out of the frost can save thousands against a de-icing bill.

Flying to Geneva: questions
How long is a private flight from London to Geneva?
About 1 hour 30 minutes in a light or midsize jet.
Can I carry skis on a private jet to Geneva?
Usually, yes. Tell us how many ski bags you have so we choose an aircraft with enough hold space.
Can any private jet fly me from the UK to Switzerland?
Not always. An operator from outside the UK can only fly the charters its UK permit allows, and the UK–EU agreement doesn't cover Switzerland. We have seen a client book a cheaper EU-registered aircraft elsewhere, then be told with under 48 hours to go that its permit didn't include Switzerland. We only quote aircraft we know can fly your trip.
How long is a private flight to Geneva from elsewhere in the UK?
About 1h 50m from Manchester, 1h 55m from Liverpool, 1h 45m from Birmingham, 2h 15m from Edinburgh, 2h 20m from Glasgow, in a light or midsize jet. Times are approximate and depend on the aircraft, airports and winds.
