Good to know
- Private (non-commercial) flights cannot take off or land between 22:00 and 06:00, and the last charter departure slot is 21:45, so evening returns need a firm schedule.
- Every flight needs an airport slot, which follows any change to the schedule. Running late can mean a new slot request.
- During the World Economic Forum in late January, parking is capped at two hours, so the aircraft drops you off and repositions.

These aircraft classes typically suit Zurich from London and most of the UK. From further away, or with more passengers and luggage, we may suggest a longer-range jet. We confirm the right one for your group, luggage and dates when we quote.

Flying to Zurich: questions
How long is a private flight from London to Zurich?
About 1 hour 40 minutes in a light or midsize jet.
Can I fly into Zurich at night on a private jet?
Private (non-commercial) flights cannot operate between 22:00 and 06:00, and charter departures must leave by 21:45. We plan the timings around these limits.
Can any private jet fly me from the UK to Switzerland?
Not always. An operator from outside the UK can only fly the charters its UK permit allows, and the UK–EU agreement doesn't cover Switzerland. We have seen a client book a cheaper EU-registered aircraft elsewhere, then be told with under 48 hours to go that its permit didn't include Switzerland. We only quote aircraft we know can fly your trip.
How long is a private flight to Zurich from elsewhere in the UK?
About 2h 00m from Manchester, 2h 05m from Liverpool, 1h 50m from Birmingham, 2h 25m from Edinburgh, 2h 30m from Glasgow, in a light or midsize jet. Times are approximate and depend on the aircraft, airports and winds.
