Private jets at President Donald J. Trump International Airport
This is the airport for Palm Beach, formerly Palm Beach International (PBI); its codes changed to DJT and KDJT in 2026. It is open around the clock with a 10,000-foot runway and several private terminals, but presidential flight restrictions around Mar-a-Lago can close or restrict the airspace at short notice.

Business aviation handling
The airport says general aviation is served by three full-service FBOs (Atlantic Aviation, Jet Aviation and Signature), and Signature runs two terminals (South and North). The FIS customs building is separate from the FBOs.
Signature Aviation (DJT South)
1500 Perimeter Road. Open 24 hours. Lists onsite customs and immigration, hangar, 500,000-600,000 sq ft of ramp, large conference room and sleep room.
Signature Aviation (DJT North)
817 Morrison Field Road. Open 24 hours. Lists 200,000-300,000 sq ft of ramp and onsite customs and immigration. The airport's general aviation page links to this terminal under the name NetJets.
Atlantic Aviation
3800 Southern Boulevard. Open 24 hours. Lists hangar space, pilot's lounge, crew cars and conference room. Publishes advisories on presidential TFRs and holiday ramp congestion.
Jet Aviation
1515 Perimeter Road. Open 24 hours. New terminal shared with a Gulfstream maintenance facility, executive lounge, conference room, crew lounge and snooze room, six hangars, nightly hangarage, ramp access for passenger vehicles and US customs (CBP).
Worth knowing before you fly
- Check for presidential TFRs before quoting any Palm Beach trip. When the President is in residence, flights can be restricted or need FAA approval at least 24 hours ahead, and timings can change at short notice.
- Customs is a separate CBP building, open 08:30-19:30 local only. An international arrival outside those hours needs another plan, and everyone on board walks through the FIS with their bags.
- The airport was renamed in July 2026 and its IATA code changed from PBI to DJT on 18 August 2026. Older bookings, documents and FBO names may still say PBI.
- Ramps fill up over Thanksgiving and the Christmas and New Year period, so book FBO parking early for winter-season trips.

Airport
| Opening hours | The FAA Chart Supplement lists the airport as attended continuously, and the airport has a 24-hour control tower. Signature (South and North), Atlantic Aviation and Jet Aviation all publish 24-hour, 7-day hours. CBP inspection is 08:30-19:30 local, 7 days a week. |
|---|---|
| Prior permission | No airport-wide PPR is published for business jets. 24 hours' PPR is needed for aircraft with a wingspan over 171 ft and for ARFF Index D cover, and 24 hours' notice is needed for aircraft carrying weather-modification or geoengineering equipment. During presidential flight restrictions, Atlantic Aviation says the FAA runs a local TFR flight request process and the form must be sent at least 24 hours ahead. |
| Customs and immigration | CBP clears general aviation at a Federal Inspection Service (FIS) building that is not attached to any FBO or the main terminal. Inspection is 08:30-19:30 local, 7 days a week. Permission to land must be obtained at least 2 hours before departure from the foreign airport and is valid for 30 minutes either side of the ETA. Everyone on board goes into the FIS with their bags, and passengers can leave directly from there. Signature South and Signature North advertise onsite customs and immigration, and Jet Aviation lists US customs (CBP). |
| Slots | The airport is not one of the US airports where the FAA limits flights with slots or schedule review. |
| Noise and night restrictions | Noise abatement procedures are in effect. The Chart Supplement restricts Stage 2 aircraft 22:00-07:00 local and bans multi-engine flight training from sunset to sunrise and on Sundays and holidays. The airport's noise abatement procedures (from its Part 150 study) are voluntary, and there is no penalty for not following them. The airport says that since the presidential TFR began in November 2025, the FAA has changed procedures and some voluntary noise procedures can no longer be used. |
| Aircraft parking | General aviation parks on the south, west and north-west sides of the airfield. General aviation aircraft may not use the north parking ramps and aprons unless approved in advance by the airport. Signature lists 500,000-600,000 sq ft of ramp at DJT South and 200,000-300,000 sq ft at DJT North. Atlantic warns of ramp congestion over Thanksgiving (25-29 November) and from 24 December 2026 to 3 January 2027. |
| Other restrictions | The US Secret Service has asked the FAA to keep aircraft from flying directly over Mar-a-Lago, and the airport expects this to last for the President's term. The FAA issues VIP-movement notices and temporary flight restrictions (TFRs) for Palm Beach, and Atlantic says they are unpredictable in frequency and duration. Aircraft with a wingspan of 118 ft or more may not use Taxiway L, and several other taxiways are closed to wingspans over 118 ft. Runway 10R/28L is closed to airline (Part 121 and Part 380) operations. The FAA publishes arrival alerts because pilots have confused Taxiway L with Runway 10R/28L. |
