Worth knowing before you fly
- From 19 November 2026 to 18 March 2027 the airport is closed every Thursday for runway works, apart from a few dates around Christmas and New Year.
- In summer, plan Mykonos as a drop-off and pick-up: a slot is mandatory, it must match the PPR exactly, and handlers report a 40-minute maximum ground time, so the aircraft will normally need to wait or park elsewhere.
- Universal Aviation gives the peak season as June to mid-September. Request slots as soon as the 14-day window opens.
- Private passengers can use Fraport Greece's Delos lounge, which has fast-track, direct access to the apron.
