Private jets at Ibiza Airport
Ibiza has a single 2,799-metre runway and a General Aviation Terminal with two authorised FBOs, AviaVIP and Sky Valet. It is open around the clock in summer but has shorter hours from 1 November, and summer brings slot coordination and strict parking rules for larger jets.

Business aviation handling
Passengers and crew can choose to use the General Aviation Terminal, served by the two FBOs authorised by the airport, AviaVIP and Sky Valet (AIP).
AviaVIP (Aviapartner Ibiza FBO)
Authorised FBO inside the General Aviation Terminal. Open 24/7. Two VIP lounges of over 500 m2, crew lounges with showers and two snooze rooms, private meeting room.
Sky Valet Spain (Gestair by Sky Valet Ibiza)
Authorised FBO (AIP). Based in the technical block; three VIP crew areas; 24/7 operations centre.
Worth knowing before you fly
- Parking is the main pressure point in summer. Larger jets (over 18 m wingspan) cannot use the General Aviation apron, and stopovers longer than 3 hours between May and mid-October need an approved stand before the slot is granted. Raise this early for drop-and-wait trips.
- From 1 November the airport closes at night (06:30-23:00, with one more hour on PPR), so late winter arrivals must be timed to the published hours.
- Ibiza is slot-coordinated in summer. Peak weekends fill up, so confirm slots before quoting fixed times.
- In winter, large aircraft needing higher fire cover must give the airport at least 3 days' notice.

Airport
| Opening hours | Summer: H24. Winter: H24 until 31 October, then 06:30-23:00 from 1 November, plus one further hour with PPR (Spanish AIP; times UTC unless stated). Customs, ATS, fuel and handling follow aerodrome hours. AviaVIP lists 24/7 availability; Sky Valet repeats the airport's seasonal hours. |
|---|---|
| Prior permission | No PPR during normal hours; the extra hour after 23:00 in winter needs PPR. All general and business aviation must use a ground handling agent. From 1 May to 15 October, aircraft with a wingspan over 18 m staying more than 3 hours must request a stand in advance through the handler, and the slot request needs prior parking authorisation from the airport. |
| Customs and immigration | Customs and immigration follow aerodrome hours (AIP). |
| Slots | Coordinated airport (Level 3) in the summer season and schedules-facilitated (Level 2) in winter (AESA list). VFR flights are exempt from the slot request. |
| Noise and night restrictions | No night curfew is published in summer. Reverse thrust above idle is not allowed 22:00-05:00 (AIP times, UTC basis) except for safety. Engine tests at medium or full power are limited to set daytime hours. Aircraft must reduce power after take-off, and direct turns are not given below 6,000 ft. |
| Aircraft parking | The General Aviation apron and its access taxiways are limited to aircraft with a wingspan of 18 m or less; larger aircraft park on the commercial apron. From 1 May to 15 October, aircraft over 18 m wingspan staying more than 3 hours need a stand approved in advance. From 1 June to 30 September the AIP sets a maximum parking time of one week on the commercial apron. In summer, aircraft on the commercial apron must be ready to move within 3 hours if the airport asks. There is no hangar space. |
| De-icing | Not available (AIP). |
| Other restrictions | Jet aircraft may not arrive or depart under VFR. Training flights are not allowed on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1 May to 15 October. From 1 November to 31 March, aircraft needing fire cover above category 7 must apply to the airport at least 3 days before arrival. Movements between the terminal and aircraft must be in an authorised handling vehicle. |
