Good to know
- Every non-scheduled flight needs prior permission (PPR) from the handling agent, Gibair, before it can land. We request it when we book.
- The business aviation wing has its own entrance, security and lounges, with customs and immigration on site.
- Under the UK–EU agreement on Gibraltar, applied from 15 July 2026, arriving passengers go through both Gibraltar and Schengen entry checks at the airport, while the land border with Spain no longer has routine checks.
- Gibraltar is British, so UK-registered aircraft need no foreign-operator permit. Operators from outside the UK need one from the Gibraltar Civil Aviation Authority, which we check before we quote.
