Private jets at Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport
Olbia is the gateway to the Costa Smeralda in north-east Sardinia, with a 2,445-metre runway and a dedicated General Aviation Terminal run by Eccelsa Aviation, which has on-site police and customs. The FBO is open 07:00-22:00 local, handling is mandatory, and general aviation flights need the airport's authorisation, which Eccelsa arranges.

Business aviation handling
Eccelsa Aviation's General Aviation Terminal, built in 2009, is separate from the main terminal and has passenger and crew lounges, meeting rooms and on-site police and customs. Eccelsa says about 20 steps separate the car park from the terminal door.
Eccelsa Aviation
The FBO and General Aviation Terminal at Olbia (Via dei Ricercatori 13/15). Handling is mandatory. Passenger lounge with café, crew lounge and snooze room, meeting rooms, on-site police and customs, 150 free car parking spaces in front of the terminal. Open 07:00-22:00 local, 365 days a year.
Worth knowing before you fly
- Eccelsa's General Aviation Terminal has its own police and customs, so passengers go from car to aircraft without using the main terminal.
- The FBO closes at 22:00 local. Early departures or late arrivals need an opening-hours extension booked in advance, which also brings in the tower, border police and customs.
- Olbia is slot-coordinated in summer and Eccelsa treats June to September as peak season. Book handling and the airport's authorisation early for summer weekends.
- Parking longer than an hour needs the airport's authorisation and aircraft may be moved to a remote stand, so tell the handler about long stays when booking.
