Parking stands for business aircraft are few and are given out first-come, first-served, so they fill quickly during big events such as the Carnival and the Film Festival.

Business aviation handling
The General Aviation Terminal is on the south apron, with its own security screening (including X-ray for hand and hold baggage). Handlers can ask SAVE to use the ceremonial boat dock for general aviation flights. Universal Aviation says a water taxi terminal is just outside the GAT.

Worth knowing before you fly
- General aviation stands are few and are given out in the order requests arrive. During the Carnival (January/February), the Architecture Biennale (May) and the Film Festival (September), book parking as soon as the dates are known. Treviso is about 30 minutes' drive away if Venice is full (Universal Aviation figure).
- A stand request made less than two hours before arrival may only be granted as a quick turnaround.
- Private water taxis can meet passengers at the dock outside the General Aviation Terminal; book them through the handler, as some hotels can only be reached by boat.
- Outside the GAT's opening hours (06:00-22:00 local), passengers are escorted through the main terminal unless overtime has been arranged.
