Private jets at Dubai World Central
Al Maktoum International, also called Dubai World Central, is open around the clock, with a 4,500-metre runway, customs and immigration at all hours, and several private terminals run by business aviation handlers. It is a slot-coordinated airport, so each flight needs a slot from ACL as well as landing permission from the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority.

Business aviation handling
Jetex and Jet Aviation operate from the VIP terminal at Al Maktoum. ExecuJet runs its own private terminal, and DC Aviation Al-Futtaim has its own VVIP lounge and hangars.
Jetex

DC Aviation Al-Futtaim
Business aviation facility at Al Maktoum in Dubai South with a 5,700-square-metre hangar and a 1,300-square-metre VVIP lounge. Lists 24-hour on-site security, screening, customs and immigration.
Worth knowing before you fly
- Al Maktoum has four business aviation handlers with private lounges and customs, so passengers do not need to use the main passenger terminal.
- Every flight needs both an ACL slot and Dubai landing permission. For a charter that drops off or collects passengers, allow at least two clear working days for the permission.
- The main runway closes every Monday afternoon, 15:00-18:00 local, for maintenance. Avoid scheduling Monday afternoon arrivals or departures in that window.
- EASA currently advises EU operators to avoid Persian Gulf waters except when arriving or departing, so routings to and from Dubai may be longer than usual. Check the latest bulletin before quoting.
