Slots and permissions during the Las Vegas Grand Prix
During major events, airports often run special slot, parking and prior-permission (PPR) schemes, and each airport sets its own rules for each event. Every event quote is subject to the slots and permissions being granted. We apply for them as soon as you book, and if your first-choice airport is full we offer the nearest alternative.
What the airports have published
Henderson Executive and North Las Vegas: every visiting aircraft needs a prior-permission number from 17 to 23 November 2026, granted first come, first served while ramp space lasts. Special event landing fees apply, and every IFR departure on Sunday 22 November needs a departure slot.
In 2025 the FAA also ran a race-week parking reservation system and a post-race departure slot programme across the Las Vegas airports. The 2026 notice had not been published when we checked.

Questions
Which airport is closest to the Las Vegas Grand Prix?
Henderson Executive (HSH) is the usual choice: About 20 to 25 minutes by road to the Strip to Las Vegas Strip Circuit. The alternatives are Harry Reid International (LAS), North Las Vegas (VGT).
When should I book a private jet to the Las Vegas Grand Prix?
We suggest booking by 27 August 2026. The book-by date is our suggested latest date to confirm for the widest choice of aircraft. Aircraft and slots are committed early for big events, so booking sooner usually means more options and a better price. After it, flights are often still possible, with less choice.
Are airport slots guaranteed?
During major events, airports often run special slot, parking and prior-permission (PPR) schemes, and each airport sets its own rules for each event. Every event quote is subject to the slots and permissions being granted. We apply for them as soon as you book, and if your first-choice airport is full we offer the nearest alternative.
